PAOLA BASCÓN
Paola Bascón is an artist and researcher. Her work engages with histories of extraction and the potential restoration of affective relationships with the more-than-human world. Weaving historical accounts and archival material with speculative storytelling and somatic activations, her work unfolds across various mediums, as well as participatory and pedagogical formats.
She graduated from Communication Design and Media Art at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (2017) and from the Art & Ecology MA (2024) at Goldsmiths, University of London. Paola has been awarded the Migrant Futures Institute studentship for developing her doctoral research at Goldsmiths.
