DR LENKA VRÁBLÍKOVÁ








Lenka Vráblíková is a lecturer at the School of Art, Goldsmiths. Her work lies at the intersection of contemporary art and visual cultures with transnational feminisms, political ecology, deconstruction & new materialism, and ecofeminist pedagogy. Since 2017, and in collaboration with Elspeth Mitchell, her research has been focusing on feminist visual ethnomycology, examining the role of fungi in the political imagination of European postcoloniality. Lenka is also a member of Critical Ecologies Research Stream at Goldsmiths, member of advisory board of UMPRUM Center for Art and Ecology at KAFKÁRNA (Czech Republic), and co-founding member of the transnational Feminist Readings Network. Together with Elspeth Mitchell she developed ecofeminist teaching material "Learning Collaboration with Mushrooms: A Guided Walk in the Forest" (2021/2025). In collaboration with artist Eva Koťátková she is currently developing eco-feminist art education programme "Fog: School of Ecological Imagination."  Lenka’s work has been published in academic journals and press such as Gender and Education, Feminist Encounters, Australian Feminist Studies, Antennae: Journal of nature in visual culture, and Edinburgh University Press.
